About Us
Fleming Speech Therapy Services, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. Founded by Carrie Fleming in October, 2004, Fleming Speech has grown into the premier speech and language therapy facility in Stafford, Virginia.
Since 2004, Fleming Speech has been providing quality and nurturing speech therapy throughout Central and Northern Virginia for children and adults.
We have several therapists including a reading specialist and administrative managers on staff to assist you with your individual needs. You will find our staff willing and capable to meet any challenge. We look forward to working with you and your family.
Carrie Fleming
President and founder of Fleming Speech Therapy Services, Inc.
Carrie Fleming has been a licensed and certified speech language therapist since 1996 after graduating from the University of Toledo with a Master’s in Education, specializing in Speech Language Pathology. She founded Fleming Speech Therapy Services in Stafford, VA in the fall of 2004 realizing her lifelong dream to bring high quality speech treatment and therapy to families in need in a loving and nurturing environment.
She has been licensed in four different states, Ohio, Virginia, California and Hawaii and has worked in several speech therapy settings including private practice, School systems and as an instructor at the University of Hawaii and University of Toledo for graduate students. She has also served as the Director for the Scottish Rite pre-school for speech and language delayed children in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has also served as a member of Toast Masters. Carrie is the mother of six children and a military wife.
